Big Boy Food

We were going to wait until March 24 to start cereal, but ended up caving 5 days early after Zen started waking up ravenous twice a night. Mommy was exhausted after a string of nights with no sleep...Zen seemed to enjoy his experience, and we look forward to getting more shut-eye in the future.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

So weird to have St. Pat's so close to Easter this year...Zion, Kelsey, Zen and I celebrated the day by coloring Easter eggs, as well as having our usual celebratory St. Pat's food: Green milkshakes for breakfast, corned beef and red potatoes for dinner. Even Zenni got festive, wearing his little green jammies to playgroup in Evanston.

Zen Baptism

We celebrated Zen's baptism at Sojourner with the Huzar clan, Vince and Tracy, and Grandma Pam. We were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day and the warmth and love of our entire church and family. Zen enjoyed the ceremony in his own special way, by crying throughout :-)
